Drivers on the M6 are facing traffic chaos and huge delays during the busy Friday rush hour period following a broken down vehicle and “large spillage”. Two lanes of four are closed on the northbound carriageway in Staffordshire between junction 14 and junction 15.
Specialist teams have rushed to the scene to help with the clean up, but drivers are being warned there are currently delays of 60 minutes and 5 miles of congestion on the approach.
