Meghan ‘fighting all corners’ and ‘has to make key change’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has been described as “fighting all corners” as royal expert Ingrid Seward points out that she has to make key change. The 44-year-old is making a shock return to the UK next month, with Prince Harry and their children also joining her.

The family, who may be set to stay at a royal residence offered to them by the King, are making the return so that Harry can attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games. The event is reportedly set to take place on July 10 in Birmingham, the same day that Prince William is holding his annual polo event in Windsor.

Speaking about Meghan’s return, Ms Seward told New Magazine that she needs to make an appearance in the UK in order to make one key change – which is to project a perfect image.

The royal, who launched her brand As Ever last year, has seen her popularity decline further in the past few years – especially since stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

Ms Seward has said that Meghan “needs to visit the UK”, adding: “Coming here and facing that will be a challenge… She knows she’s under fire and the ‘under fire image isn’t good for her brand.

“She’s fighting in all corners so she needs to project a perfect image in order to keep building her brand and business.”

The expert added: “They need to come, or more accurately, Meghan needs to come. She really needs a bit of royal stardust sprinkled on her and her business if she wants it to succeed.

Following the confirmation of their visit, royal fans then began speculating where the family could stay during the trip – with it then reported that the King had made a suggestion to his youngest son.

It remains unclear if the couple have accepted the King’s offer, and whether the Sussexes will have police protection during their visit

Meghan has not travelled to the UK since September 2022, a visit that saw the couple attend the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
