New pictures of Meghan Markle were released yesterday, showing her visiting a children’s hospital on March 21.
Many had questioned why the photographs were only just shared by the royal, but it appears the Duchess of Sussex was looking out for her sister-in-law, the Princess of Wales.
Typically, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex release promotional material of an engagement the day after it took place, which would mean details would have been shared on Friday March 22 – the day Kate told the world of her cancer diagnosis.
Fans have therefore suggested that Meghan held onto the photos and details of her visit so she didn’t overshadow the bombshell news from across the pond.
Meghan appeared at the hospital to mark their annual Make March Matter campaign, and even took part in a special Literally Healing story time with the children and their families.
