Meghan Markle’s three-world line in one of her early works in Hollywood has come into the spotlight. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress in Hollywood before she married into the Royal Family in 2018.
In 2010, one of Meghan’s earliest films was Remember Me, a film starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. Meghan played a bartender also called Megan. Her only line in the film was in a short clip where she said, “Do not speak.”
The moment has returned to the spotlight after Robert’s role in the newly released and highly anticipated film The Odyssey.
In 2013, speaking to Singapore-based lifestyle magazine publication, Her World Plus (HWP), Meghan said about the actor, who plays Antinous in the film: “He’s a really lovely guy and a really great example to be able to watch someone who is young, whose stardom has really taken over his life in such a huge way, and yet he’s still gracious, humble and cool. I think that is really endearing.”
Last year, while appearing on the podcast Aspire with Emma Grede, Meghan said about missing acting: “Sometimes. But you know what, actually, having a large team, being back on set with With Love, Meghan was great, because I realized how much I missed my crew. I love being around a crew.”
The Duchess of Sussex starred as Rachel Zane in seven seasons of the hugely successful Netflix legal drama, which ran from 2011 to 2019. But she left in 2018 after getting married to Prince Harry and moving to Britain.
Prince Harry’s wife, who quit her acting career eight years ago, was snapped filming at Amazon MGM Studios in Pasadena. Meghan is set to play herself in Jason Orley’s Close Personal Friends, which boasts Lily Collins, Brie Larson, Jack Quaid — son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid — and Brit Henry Golding among its cast.
