Manchester United‘s hopes of signing Lewis Hall from Newcastle appear to have been dealt a body blow.
The i Paper report that Hall is deemed ‘untouchable’ by the Magpies who have already lost Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon, Kieran Trippier and possibly also soon captain Bruno Guimaraes.
Hall, 21, is deemed a dream long-term replacement for Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.
But Newcastle, who recently saw head coach Eddie Howe hand in his resignation, have zero plans to let the left-back leave this month.
Instead, it is stated that the Englishman is ‘unequivocally not for sale’.
